The Mingtai Aluminum High-Performance Metal Materials Research Institute primarily engages in the fundamental research of high-performance deep-drawing, high-surface, and high-precision materials, as well as the study of aluminum alloy bodies for rail transit, aluminum extrusions for rail transit, interior components, and other related supporting products.

The institute is equipped with internationally advanced instruments, including the German Bruker Q8 spectrometer, Hitachi high-precision electronic scanning microscope, mid-infrared spectrometer, laser particle size analyzer, mechanical performance testing equipment, metallographic microscope, fatigue testing machine, CVC6 roll cold rolling mill, semi-continuous casting machine, and 950KW stabilization annealing furnace. These advanced testing instruments and pilot equipment can support various scientific research activities, including technical development research, academic discussions, personnel training, product testing, internal organizational structure analysis, process experiments, and small batch pilot production.
